As you already know when it comes to options for the development of your child as a hockey player during the winter season there are almost no choices. Development would depend on the strength and policies of the local association.
The GOAL is to prepare each player to eventually make their association's A team when they return.

Choice Mite League is a skill based program. Each team will get 60-100 hours of practice ice, plus games (depending on level of Mites). The focus will be on skating, edge work and stickhandling. It takes an increased level of ice time and high repetitions to develope the fine muscle and motor skills needed to someday achieve an elite level. Dryland training including hockey treadmill has been added this year at our new dryland facility 1st Athlete.
Choice Squirt League is a skill based program. Each team will recieve about 150 hours of indoor ice. The focus will be on skating, edge work, stickhandling, and team concepts. It takes this level of ice time and high repetition to develope the fine muscle and motor skills needed to someday acheive an elite level. Dryland training including hockey treadmill has been added this year at our new dryland facility 1st Athlete.
Choice Peewee Program is a skill based Full Checking League. Each team will recieve about 150 hours total of training. The focus will be primarily on hands skills, passing, edge work and team concepts. It takes this level of ice time and high repitition to develop the fine muscle and motor skills needed to someday achieve an elite level. Dryland training including hockey treadmill has been added this year at our new dryland facility 1st Athlete.
That's right! We own our own rink. All play will take place at the Minnesota Made Ice Center.
The rink is located on the border of Edina and Bloomington.
To make it easier for families to attend church we will rarely have any ice times that start before noon on Sundays.
