Minnesota Made Hockey

This program takes the popular 5 week Speed Academy and incorporates specialized training in our 20,000 sq. ft. dryland facility, 1st Hockey, to add more strength, more power, more agility to the dryland aspect of the program. Our highly trained coaching staff will design an age appropriate program that will focus on taking each athlete to the next level of their game.

The facility has been designed to accomodate the athlete in his or her pursuit of excellence from the beginning athlete to the seasoned professional. 1st Hockey offers the latest in high performance cardio equipment, Minnesota's only dual skating treadmill and multi-tasking training area., Keisers stacks, medicine balls, free weights, and a turf field. All this, combined with scientifically designed programs from Cal Dietz, Kevin Ziegler, and Shjon Podein, seperates 1st Hockey from the rest of the field. 

Total Cost: $950.00 – $450.00 deposit due with registration. The balance is due on or before April 15th. Entire fee is due with any registration after April 15. Space is limited so register early!
All ice times are held at the Minnesota Made Ice Center. Three blocks north of 494 and Hwy 100.

Speed Academy is over five weeks. Each participant will skate five days a week. (Mon. - Fri.). Each day will include a 1 hour dryland session and 1 hour 20 minutes of ice time. Wednesdays are a scrimmage only day. No Dryland on Wednesday! This program will be run at an extremely high level of intensity, pushing the skater well out of their comfort zone. This overspeed type training along with learning proper technique will produce a player that will have much more speed, quickness and agility, making the player a stronger competitor.

Total Cost: $650.00 – $300.00 deposit due with registration. The balance is due on or before April 15th. Entire fee is due with any registration after April 15. Space is limited so register early!
